New Onondaga Lake Adventure Feasibility Study gets underway Posted on Tue, December 9th, 2008 Written by: Syracuse Parent, email: editor@syracuseparent.net
The Friends of Historic Onondaga Lake (FoHOL) is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving the rich and extensive history that surrounds Onondaga Lake by connecting our past with the future.
With the continued progress and growth that surrounds Onondaga Lake, FoHOL is poised to be a component of that growth. Looking to the future, opportunities to enhance one’s lake experience is foremost on FoHOL’s horizon of growth and expansion with a vision to move Onondaga Lake forward as an attraction and a focal point of Central New York. The time to aid in the development of the New Onondaga Lake Adventure is now. The Onondaga Lake clean-up is well underway and there is plenty of optimism for our future.
The first step in transforming our lake into a superior destination is to gather community input. Friends of Historic Onondaga Lake has commissioned a feasibility study and is hoping to engage the community at large to provide us with input regarding Onondaga Lake. Simply provide ideas by going to www.RMSresults.com/FOHOL before Dec. 28, 2008. Your participation in the survey is critical and will enable FoHOL to gage community interest and support.
Funding for this feasibility study has been provided by: an anonymous donor, the Friends of Historic Onondaga Lake and Honeywell International.
Be a part of the new Onondaga Lake Adventure – fill out this survey today!
