— Two Cazenovia High School music students have been selected for the New York State School Music Association Conference All-State Mixed Chorus, which will take place Nov. 29 through Dec. 2 in Rochester at the New York State Winter Conference.

Cazenovia seniors Kyle Johnson and Jessy Silfer, selected by virtue of their superior level VI NYSSMA solo scores, will sing with more than 100 of the top students in New York state.

The group will rehearse with renowned conductor Rollo Dilworth, of Temple University, singing advanced repertoire and performing in concert in the Eastman Theatre.

Selection for the Conference All-State Chorus is an honor reserved for the most accomplished singers who have achieved high scores for solo performance and sight-reading.
